Classics by Candlelight: Oboe & Strings

Hastings Early Music Festival presents two chamber concerts featuring Mozart’s Oboe Quartet, Schubert, Beethoven and a rarely performed work by Druschetzky. Featuring oboist Leo Duarte (Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment), violinist Jane Gordon (artistic director), violist Oliver Wilson (John Eliot Gardiner/English Baroque Soloists) and cellist Gavin Kibble (English Touring Opera), all musicians enjoy international performing careers and regularly appear at the Proms, Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne and on BBC Radio 3.
The concerts are preceded by ‘Artists in Conversation’. Hear the musicians talk about their approach to the music, their interpretation, their interaction and how they communicate with the audience. Including audience Q & A.
